Community Engagement
The Foundation stimulates Community engagement. Affiliates do likewise.
We believe that maybe only 20% of the volunteers (Wikipedia editors) are member of the association WMBE.
The majority of the volunteers is not formal member, but is free to seek collaboration amongst other editors, small workgroups, the general user community, or just informal contacts.
Services provided edit
As an association we stimulate volunteers by delivering trainings, editathons, hackathons, lectures, and other support.
