Open Knowledge Belgium
Open Knowledge Belgium (also: Open Knowledge Foundation Belgium or OKFN Belgium or OpenKnowledgeBE) is the Belgian local chapter from the Open Knowledge Foundation. Wikimedia Belgium regularly works together with Open Knowledge Belgium.
They promote “open knowledge”, for example “content that people are free to use, re-use and distribute without legal, technological or social restrictions”. To achieve this goal, they “build tools and communities to promote open knowledge around the world”.[1]

Office
editFrom October 2015 to November 2016 Open Knowledge Belgium had an office in Ghent at the Sint Salvatorstraat 18 b101.
Since January 2017 Wikimedia Belgium shared their office in the Rue du Trône with Open Knowledge Belgium.
Since 4 October 2017 Open Knowledge Belgium has officially their own office in BeCentral in Brussels. (tweet)
