This page describes the project together with the Heritage Funds of the King Baudouin Foundation (KBS-FRB).
Purpose
editThe purpose of the project is to import the donated images from the King Baudouin Foundation to Wikimedia Commons, and the data of the artworks on Wikidata. Further also articles about remarkable artworks are written on Wikipedia.
History and background
editThe King Baudouin Foundation acquires works of art and literature that are considered as important Belgian heritage and gives these works in permanent loan to museums. They consider it important to make these works available to an as large as possible public.
